05 Dec Surf Snowdonia scoops multiple awards in its first full season!
Wow, it feels a bit like Christmas has come early this year! It has been quite a couple of weeks for us up here in Snowdonia.
First off Surf Snowdonia was shortlisted by the British Guild of Travel Writers as a finalist for the best tourism project in UK and Ireland for 2016. The prestigious annual BGTW awards are nominated and voted on by the industry’s best travel writers, and it was a huge honour for us to be listed as one of the three finalists. Cheers, BGTW!
Next, North Wales was named by as one of the top places in the world to visit in 2017 on their annual ‘Best in Travel’ list. We couldn’t agree more. This is a stunning part of the world and you really should treat yourself to some time out to explore our stunning mountains, valleys and coast.
Then came the fantastic news that Surf Snowdonia had won the prestigious Year of Adventure accolade at the Go North Wales Awards. What an amazing honour! And finally, our inland surf adventure parc won the top North Wales Tourism Award at the Daily Post Business Awards. We’re so super-stoked and delighted with it all!
Fancy checking out this world-class region and our award-winning waves for yourself? Well there’s still time this year if you’re quick. Our waves are still pumping every Friday – Sunday until 18th December. Why not check into one of our super-cosy B&B glamping pods from £25 per person per night and enjoy some chill time ahead of the Christmas frenzy?
